Fundraisers
The Mountain View Boy's Basketball Program has three fundraisers each year.
The Annual Sponsor a Player Community Service Project
- The entire program spends 5-6 hours on a Saturday performing community service at either Boise Rescue Mission, Rake Up Boise, or at the Meridian Food Bank.
- Each player sends out 15-20 sponsorship forms to family and friends for the time spent performing community service.
- The program makes money on what is donated for sponsoring a player.
- All forms/envelopes/stamps are provided by the program and the fundraiser is usually the 3rd or 4th weekend in November.
Steak Dinner & Silent Auction
- Each player of the program is responsible for at least one item to be auctioned off at the dinner.
- Parents are in charge of running the dinner and auction as it runs during a home game at MVHS.
- If you are interested in helping out with the dinner or auction please contact Coach Nettleton.
Host of Prep Basketball Tournaments
- Each spring we use our gym to host three different Basketball Tournaments.
- Every player of the program is required to help out with 2 Idaho Prep tourneys and the Northwest Premier Tourney.
- All players are required to work at least 4-6 games as scorekeeper for each tourney.
